There is nothing else like a Chinese garden –
Entering into a Chinese Garden is to pass through a Moon Gate and enter into another world.
A place of discovery, philosophy and poetry.
Wander it’s intricate pathways, patterned with pebbles. Step into a small pavilion whose purpose is ‘Listening to rain on the leaves’ or walk along a covered walkway with miniature paintings of birds and flowers on either side. Pause at a seat dedicated to enjoying the scent of Osmanthus.
Explore a mountain path and find a spring of fresh water. Look into a garden created entirely of Bonsai or lean over a decorative balustrade to watch the fish from a waterside pavilion.
Each building within the Chinese garden has a purpose, whether it’s a studio, a music room, or to watch the moon rise.
